Filipinos loved for Japanese food manifested to various Japanese restaurant booming in the country. From ramen houses, donburi to the Takoyaki in malls and even in Weekend Market.
A Japanese Cuisine Restaurant had recently opened last April. I discovered the restaurant in the non-commercial street along Examiner St. in West Triangle, Quezon City. Hodai Restaurant- is a fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine located in an old structure house converted into a restaurant. Since its opening, the restaurant becomes popular to Filipinos distinctive palate.
Hodai, serves delectable fusion Japanese – Korean dishes at very affordable prices with unlimited servings.
They served Set Menu, the Silver and the Gold Set. Regular prices for the set dishes, Silver P499.00, and Gold P599. 00. Check their FB page for the updated promo.
I enjoyed the gold set dishes served to us and here is what I like in no particular order:
Kimchi Gyoza I like its crispiness, Fish Terriyaki, no fishy taste, and the Cheeze Cream Spicy BBQ Bowl is definitely a must-try. Rose Cream Pasta ( it would be perfect if the pasta is al dente, and this is Italian just wondering to see it in a Japanese Restaurant.),
They also served unli-rice and soup you will find this in their self-service station. Drinks are for single serving only and if you want ice cream for dessert you can order but separate price.
