We are afraid to express our feelings when we are in a relationship even we know there is a need for a dialogue. Sometimes, one needs to sacrifice in order to survive or hold on to the relationship.

Find out how can they keep their marriage last if the husband keeps repeating mistakes and how they reconcile their own differences.

If he doesn’t see your Face is a heavy subject that will challenge the viewer’s point of view when you watch this play by Arete of the Ateneo de Manila University in collaboration with the Japanese and Philippine Theater.

I will not go with a detailed review because it’s my first time to watch this kind of theater play. But, I am impressed with The Actors performances as they delivered emotions and the kilometric lines to convey.  Delphine Bencamino as Kooriyama Yasuyo and Brian Sy as Kooriyama Tatsuya.  Directed by Ricardo Abad, Playwright by Suzue Toshiro.

“If He Doesn’t See Your Face” runs Aug. 2 and 3 at 8:00 p.m. August 4 at 3:00 p.m. Doreen Black Box, Arete complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City. You can purchase your tickets at Ticket2Me or on Facebook Page Arete
