My recent visit to Boracay Island last October will be considered one of my ordinary visit to the island since 2010.
I just want to share some information to help those planning to visit the island. We stayed away from the busy district of Boracay since we just wanted to relax. We booked the Hotel ahead of time at Booking. com.
Located on a hill, Hotel Soffia gives spectacular views. A good location as it’s away from the crowded and busy white beach. This hotel is quiet and a relaxing place to stay. The view is awesome. Room was good and clean. Breakfast is quite good as well as their staff is friendly and polite. The pool is also clean and offers a spectacular view. There are beaches nearby one is Puka Beach. If you want to eat there is a New City Mall nearby.
Though it is far from everything the hotel arrange transfer to D’Mall Budget Mart, Station 2, which runs every hour. It is a 15 to 20 mins or depending on the traffic. You still have to walk to go to the white beach once you alighted at D’Mall.
However, the management should look in some details that will help improve the hotel.
There is no safe box in the room
They should be fixed the tiles from the pool.
Limited Wi-Fi access though it’s free.
